Happy Moon Festival


Celebrate the 2024 Moon Festival with Cumberland City Council! Join us for a fun filled event featuring traditional and contemporary music and dance performances, an outdoor cinema screening, artisan market, art activities and workshops and some of the best Korean and culturally diverse food in Western Sydney. Don’t forget to try some mooncakes!

Local Government Elections


The next Local Government Elections will be held on 14 September 2024. Pre-Poll voting is available from Saturday 7 September to Friday 13 September 2024 (excluding Sunday) for eligible electors. Postal vote applications are available from 6 August 2024.

Your Rates at Work


Council has recently installed three new roundabouts at Albert Street and Palmer Street in Merrylands West, Membrey Street and The Trongate in Granville and Davies Street and Morris Street in Merrylands to help minimise accidents, prevent speeding and increase road safety.
