NAIDOC Week Celebrations

Greystanes High School celebrated NAIDOC Week with the official opening of their yarning circles. Yarning circles are a traditional practice used by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples for communication and decision-making.

They involve gathering in a circle to share stories, knowledge, and experiences in a respectful and inclusive manner. There was also a smoking ceremony performed by Uncle Colin Locke and a morning tea prepared by Year 11 Hospitality students.
