Composting and worm farming are cheap and easy ways to reduce your organic waste at home and return vital nutrients to your garden soil.
Council is holding a free online Composting and Worm Farming workshop. Come and learn all you need to know to set up and maintain your own worm farm or composting system at home. You will also take away all the tips and tricks to make your own compost or worm farm successful.
Did you know that around 48% of the waste in Cumberland is organic? Food scraps, garden waste, and even tea bags or coffee grounds, can all be composted or processed through a worm farm, turning waste into a resource for your garden and the environment.
Join the 738 Cumberland residents already composting and making a difference! You can claim a $50 rebate on a compost bin or worm farm. Available to both homeowners and tenants.
