What proof is required if you booked a Cumberland City Council resident ticket?

Your ID with your address or rates notice with your name and address are acceptable forms of proof.

Do I need to show ID?

The person using the ticket for entry must be in the right ticket-type group. Cumberland City Residents, Children 16 years and under will need to present their ID for proof of residence and age. Other forms of ID required include Seniors Cards and Companion Cards.

Valid Forms of ID

Australian Drivers Licence, NSW Digital Drivers Licence, Australian Passport, NSW Photo Card, Proof of Age Card. All ID must be current and not expired.

Reselling Tickets

If you are unable to attend or the day you wish to attend is sold out we recommend reselling and/or purchasing your tickets via Tixel, the authorised and safe resale platform.

We never recommend purchasing or selling tickets off a third party, such as a social media platform or marketplace because it opens yourself and others up to scammers and there’s a chance your ticket may not scan at the entry. Council will not be held responsible for any third-party sales/purchases. Should you make any sales/purchases from a third party you do this at your own risk.

Can I leave and re-enter the festival on the same day?

Unfortunately, no pass outs are allowed at the festival. Once your ticket has been scanned it cannot be scanned a second time. If you leave the venue and wish to re-enter you will need to purchase another ticket.

Are under 18’s allowed into the bar/licensed area?

Our licensees have a responsibility to meet obligations with respect to minors on licensed premises under the Liquor Act 1992. A minor is a person who is under 18 years of age and must be accompanied by an adult who is responsibly supervising the minor. Even when accompanied, minors are not exempt from complying with the Liquor Act 1992. Not only is a licensee responsible for refusing the sale of liquor to a minor, licensees and their staff are also legally required to prevent liquor from being supplied or consumed by a minor.

Festival tickets

All festival tickets must be pre-booked online for entry into the festival.

Cumberland resident entry to the festival is free, however tickets are required to be pre-booked to reserve your spot as numbers are capped within the gardens.

Unfortunately there are no sales booths at the event and door sales are not available. No entry will be permitted to the venue without a ticket.
