Community members are invited to share in the creation of a collaborative artwork woven from preloved fabrics.

Get into mindfulness while celebrating Diwali through art making. Council and Wentworthville artist Rupa Parthasarathy invite you to join in the creation of a collaborative tapestry woven from preloved fabrics. These community tapestries will become a vibrant art installation in Friend Park on display during Council’s Diwali Festival.

The program is led by local artist Rupa Parthasarathy of Mindkshreta studio in Wentworthville, an arts studio with a focus on arts and creativity for enhancing physical and emotional well-being.

Bring your own fabric if you wish, but don’t worry if you can’t, materials will be supplied.
