The event will feature two fun-filled sessions, giving kids a chance to get active, make new friends, and learn a new sport in a welcoming, inclusive environment.
Run by qualified coaches from Sparrows Pickleball, the sessions are perfect for beginners, with all equipment provided.
Kids will enjoy engaging games and drills that develop hand-eye coordination, teamwork, and confidence - all while having fun. “Pickleball is easy to learn, fun to play, and accessible for all ages.
We’re excited to bring this opportunity to the local community and give kids a positive and active experience these school holidays,” said Helen, Sparrows Pickleball Founder. This initiative is part of Sparrows' mission to connect communities through sport, with support from Cumberland City Council and Barnardos Australia to help make sport inclusive and accessible to all families.
Parent/Guardian supervision required for children 15 and under.
Please note children aged 15 years old and under participating in this program must be supervised for the duration of the program by a parent/guardian 18 years of age or over. Parents / caregivers are required to remain in the program room to supervise their child/children for the duration of the program.
