About Ramadan

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar, a special time for Muslims around the world to fast, pray, reflect, and connect with family and community. Fasting from dawn until sunset, Muslims observe Ramadan as a way to purify the soul, develop empathy, and grow closer to God. The fast is broken each evening with a meal known as Iftar, often beginning with dates and followed by a feast of delicious dishes shared with loved ones.
