“Cumberland Council wants to make it easy for children, parents and their families to enjoy the school holidays,” Mayor Greg Cummings said.

“The Fun4Kids ‘Winter Wonderland’ gives families a great day out that won’t hurt the hip pocket with plenty of free activities and affordable food options.

“We mightn’t get snow out in Western Sydney but we can still embrace winter with a day of skating, ice carving, snow globes and more.

“This is the first year we have brought out a synthetic ice skating rink for kids living in the LGA and aged 13 years or younger. Online bookings are essential.

We are also providing free shuttle buses from Merrylands Train Station, Merrylands Park and Auburn Train Station to the event.

“As the event falls within NAIDOC Week, kids are invited to visit the NAIDOC tent for Indigenous craft activities or take part in a free sporting workshop.

“This school holiday’s I invite all young families to rug up, step out and get into Fun4Kids”.
