Cumberland Council’s Clean Up service provides residents with an opportunity to place unwanted household items on the kerbside for collection by the council.
Changes in Clean Up services - bookings now available
From 5 February 2018, residents from former Holroyd will have 4 pre-booked collections per year. This service replaces the scheduled Council Clean Up service.
All residents (from former Auburn, Holroyd and Parramatta - Woodville Ward) can pre-book up to 4 kerbside clean-up collections per year.

How to present your waste
Materials should be placed neatly on the kerbside in front of your property, no earlier than the night before your allocated collection day.
What do we collect?
There are restrictions on what will be collected. The following items will NOT be accepted:
- Builder’s waste and large glass/mirror sheets,
- NO ASBESTOS IN ANY FORM – find out how to dispose of asbestos
- Motor vehicles, engine parts, car batteries and tyres
- Fencing material and garden waste bundled incorrectly
- Hazardous materials
- Oils, paint, gas bottles – for a free pick-up of these items visit the problem waste website.
- Any item too heavy to lift
