Participants must be unemployed, Australian residents, aged 18 years or over, and eligible to study in Australia.

Event details

Starts 6 February 2026 - The training will provide you with an awareness of the Ceramics industry, learning how to work with clay.

You'll have the chance to acquire hands-on experience in crafting functional items like cups, bowls, plates, planters, and heart boxes. Additionally, you will gain proficiency in glazing and decorating your artistic creations.

Held every Friday for 8 consecutive weeks.

Bookings: Registrations are now open face to face registrations at Auburn Centre for Community, Berala Community Centre and Guildford Community Centre between 9am to 4pm

Requirements: Participants must be unemployed, Australian residents, aged 18 years or over, and eligible to study in Australia. Ensure you are wearing comfortable clothing, enclosed shoes and bring along a water bottle.

Enrolment: Course ID CSO5555-V03. A Unique Student Identification (USI) is required to participate in this class. Please visit https://www.usi.gov.au/

The class is delivered by TAFE NSW and supported by Cumberland City Council. You will be contacted by both parties to confirm your spot and registration. This class is a Fully Government subsidised student training.
