Pool maintenance closure - Please be advised that the 50-metre pool at Wentworthville Memorial Swim Centre will be closed for scheduled maintenance from Monday 31 August until Monday 23 November 2026. During this time, all programs and classes will continue as scheduled.

Accident, Incident and Trauma

Cumberland City Council’s Education and Care team are committed to ensuring the safety needs of children, young people, families, educators, general public, volunteers and students are met. Council has implemented a procedure and reporting system for immediate medical aid and medical treatment if serious illness, trauma, accident or injury should occur in accordance with Section 85 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.

Acknowledgement of Traditional Custodians

Cumberland City Council acknowledges the Darug Nation and People as Traditional Custodians of the land on which the Cumberland Local Government Area (LGA) is situated and pays respect to Aboriginal Elders past, present and future. We acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples as the First Peoples of Australia. Cumberland City Council also acknowledges other Aboriginal, and Torres Strait Islander Peoples living in the Cumberland LGA and reaffirms that we will work closely with all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to advance reconciliation within the area.
