The Peacock Gallery, Auburn Art Studios will be hosting FREE Drop-In Art Workshops every Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 1pm in February 2025.
The Peacock Gallery is located in Auburn Botanic Gardens Auburn Botanic Garden, Corner of Chiswick and Chisholm Road, Auburn.
Each week you will explore a new creative area.
Saturday, 8 February
Art Journaling - for ages 16+. Create a unique cover for an A5 sketchbook using fluid art techniques. Then, start your own art journal to explore styles and techniques for future projects.
Sunday, 9 February
String Making - for ages 16+. Learn the skill of making string by hand! Take home your handmade string to use for weaving, jewellery making, and other creative projects.
Saturday, 15 February
Soap Sculpture - for ages 16+. Try your hand at soap carving! Learn simple techniques to shape and carve designs into soap.
Sunday, 16 February
Word Banner - recommended for ages 10+. Children under 16 must be supervised by a parent/guardian (18+). Create a personalised word banner! Draw and decorate bold letters on paper to spell out your chosen words. Transform fabric into a colourful work of art! Learn tie-dye techniques to create a unique design.

Crochet Keychain - Make a fun crochet keychain in the shape of a fruit, animal, small bag, or another creative design! Perfect for beginners and experienced crocheters alike.
