Mayor Greg Cummings said the additional support would help ensure Council received the best grant applications possible.

“It’s Council’s goal that different community organisations have the tools they need to implement our shared vision for a sustainable and vibrant local community,” Mayor Greg Cummings said.

“The Cumberland Community Grants program is unique, because of the level of support that Council staff provides to organisations to develop and implement their project funding.

“The support includes tailored one-on-one advice, a monthly bulletin with grant opportunities and grant writing workshops.”
