Local young people aged 15 to 25 years are invited to give their insight, feedback, and ideas around mental health.
Cumberland City Council invites local young people aged 15 to 25 years to give their insight, feedback, and ideas around mental health. Participants will also hear from engaging speakers and gain some skills and strategies around wellness and self-care. The event is free and lunch will be provided.
The Youth Mental Health Consultation will be held at the Eric Tweedale Stadium on Tuesday 19 March 2024 from 10am to 1:30pm.
Counsellors will be present on the day to support anyone needed.
Information for schools
High Schools based in the Cumberland City Local Government Area are invited to register students to attend the event. Students should be in Year 10 – 12 as the content discussed may not be suitable for younger age groups. Please consider the topic and purpose of the event when selecting suitable students to attend. Teachers are required to accompany students, please refer to your school’s excursion policy around ratio and supervision requirements.
