Cumberland Council’s upgrade of Cutcliffe Reserve at Regents Park will be launched onsite at 2pm on Tuesday 15 May 2018.
The park upgrade has been funded through Cumberland Council’s Capital Works Renewal Program.
“The Cutcliffe Reserve environment has been further enhanced with new seating and outdoor barbeque facilities to create a space where people can gather together to relax,” Mayor Greg Cummings said.
“Nature-based play elements have also been incorporated to heighten the imagination of children and encourage a sense of enquiry.”
‘Poppy the Possum’, the face of our community literacy capacity building program ‘Paint Cumberland REad’, will participate on the day of the launch with a story-time session and craft activities.
Investing in outdoor venues is an investment in the health and wellbeing of the Cumberland community.
