All children have the right to experience quality education and care in an environment that provides for their health and safety. This should be complemented by a focus on promoting each child’s wellbeing and providing support for each child’s growing competence, confidence and independence in accordance with sections 155 & 156 of the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
Cumberland City Council’s Education and Care services provides suitable supervision of children to ensure their safety at all times when being educated and cared for both at the service and/or on excursions.
