Toll Relief Scheme
Motorists in Sydney are now able to claim a rebate of up to 40 percent on tolls in the 2022-23 and the 2023-24 financial years. As part of the scheme, drivers who spent more than $375 on tolls during the financial year will be able to claim up to $750. Payments to eligible customers will be backdated to 1 July 2022. Cumberland Police Area Command Police Officer of the Year Awards
I recently attended the Cumberland Police Area Command Police Officer of the Year Awards as part of the Rotary Club of Holroyd Awards Presentation Night. The event, which took place at Club Merrylands, was an opportunity for the community to acknowledge the hard work and achievements of our local Police officers. Our Police Force dedicate their lives to helping and protecting our residents, going above and beyond to ensure the safety of the Cumberland community. Well done to the nominees and congratulations to the winners.

ANZAC DAY Services
ANZAC Day, 25 April, is one of Australia’s most important national days. It marks the anniversary of the first campaign that led to major casualties for Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War from 1914 – 1918. Council staff have been working with sub Branches, RSL Clubs and community organisations to help prepare memorials, reserves and sites for this year’s commemorations with services held at locations in Cumberland.
