NAIDOC Celebration Bus Trip

Enjoy a Bus Trip to Penrith NAIDOC a vibrant celebration that honours the rich culture, history and contributions of First Nations peoples. The event features a stage program showcasing cultural dance, music and hands-on workshops.

Venue: Jamison Park, South Penrith.

Pick up locations

When making a booking you can choose between 2 pick up locations.

Depart

  • 8:30am - Auburn Centre for Community, 44A Macquarie Rd, Auburn
  • 9:00am - Holroyd Gardens, Pitt St & Walpole St, Merrylands

Return

Leaving Penrith at 2pm you will return to the same location (either Auburn or Merrylands) at the end of the day.

Terms and Conditions

  • Event available to residents aged 65yrs or over (50yrs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders) and People with Disability aged 18yrs or over and their carers living within the Cumberland City LGA only.
  • You may be required to wear a mask while accessing transport.
  • If you have flu-like symptoms, please do not attend.
  • Please note, the bus is only accessible via stairs
  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they have any required support to take part in this event. If assistance is needed, please attend with an appropriate support person.
  • Bookings open 25 May 2026 and close 12 June 2026 or once booked out
  • Bookings are essential, book online by visiting https://naidocweekpenrithbustripforseniors.eventbrite.com.au or by phoning the Seniors and Disability Team on 8757 9041.
  • Tickets can be collected and paid for at Merrylands Service Center (16 Memorial Avenue, Merrylands NSW 2160) or Auburn Service Center (1 Susan Street, Auburn NSW 2144), as nominated by you at time of booking.
  • Tickets can be collected from Monday 22 June 2026 to Friday 26 June 2026.
  • All tickets must be collected by Friday 26 June, 2026 at 15:00. Any unclaimed tickets will be re-sold.
  • If you do not attend this may impact your ability to book for future Seniors & Disability events provided by Council.
  • If you do not attend on the day, tickets are non-refundable.
