The Amy Street Railway Bridge in Regents Park, located between Auburn Road and Carlingford Street, will be officially opened on Wednesday 28 September 2016. The Bridge underwent a complete upgrade from two lanes to four lanes to better suit the traffic needs of the area and provide safer, reliable infrastructure.
Regents Park Train Station is in the immediate vicinity of the bridge, as well as several schools and businesses, so please be patient and drive carefully as traffic returns to normal in the area. Feel free to continue to use the detours that were available during the construction of the bridge at Jenkins Street and Woods Road.
Please note that the bridge does not include a pedestrian crossing due to safety concerns after a comprehensive study was undertaken. All pedestrians are urged to continue to use Regents Park Train Station to cross the railway. Both the Amy Street and Park Road crossings continue to be open for all pedestrians.
