Cumberland Council is officially taking over the operations of Guildford and Granville Libraries. During the changeover Guildford Library will be closed from Wednesday 28 September – Saturday 8 October 2016 and Granville Library from Friday 14 October – Monday 24 October 2016.
During the closure library collections, computers and staff will be prepared for the re-launch. Once the two libraries re-open all residents will have access to the complete collection of books, free computers, Wi-Fi and all other Library resources. Regular programs and activities run at the Library will also continue.
After re-launch residents will have to re-join the Library and receive new Cumberland Library cards; this can be simply done by visiting either Libraries customer service desk. Parramatta Library cards will continue to work at all other Parramatta Library branches. School holiday activities scheduled during the closure will still be run as advertised in the Tom Collins room near Guildford Library.
