Council is calling on the community to provide feedback to help improve the Cumberland library services through the Library Customer Satisfaction Survey.

Council currently maintains a network of eight libraries located at Auburn, Granville, Greystanes, Guildford, Lidcombe, Merrylands, Regents Park, and Wentworthville, with a wide range of resources available for all ages.

Mayor Greg Cummings said Cumberland libraries offer so much more than just books, they are community hubs and a centre of learning and development for our residents.

“Our dedicated library staff are passionate about not only providing great customer service but also ensuring that our community is able to get the most out of the library resources available. This is why it’s important for us to know how well we are doing now and how we can improve for the future.

“Cumberland libraries offer English conversation classes, HSC study groups, reading clubs, movie discussion clubs, children’s reading resources, toddler singing and activity groups, access to research databases, and information on family history, among many other programs. Residents are bound to find something new and interesting at their local library.

“I encourage everyone to get involved and have their say on how to improve the library service available to them, and if you haven’t been to the library recently, why not take this as an opportunity to visit and see what is on offer?”

The Library Customer Satisfaction Survey is open on haveyoursay.cumberland.nsw.gov.au until 5pm on Monday 4 June 2018.
