A fundraiser for UNHCR
AGATHI: Refugee, the dance-theatre production by Apsaras Arts Dance Company, is a compelling exploration of the contemporary issues surrounding refugees worldwide.
Through music, poetry, and the Indian classical dance form of bharatanatyam, AGATHI seeks to shed light on the lives and struggles of refugees, highlighting their emotional states and the stigma they face.
The Sydney premiere of AGATHI is a fundraiser event in support of UNHCR Australia’s Primary Impact Program, to re-enroll refugee children into education programs in 14 countries globally.
