Youth Hub

Stop by the Council’s Youth Hub, your go-to destination for young people on health, employment, counselling, housing, educational services and more!

Council is rolling out a Youth Hub at Merrylands Library held on the first and third Thursday of the month from 2pm to 5:30pm, starting on Thursday 16 May.

The hub is a one stop shop that will offer a range of health, employment counselling, housing and education services for youth aged 12 to 25 years-old.

Services includes:

  • Employment support: Work experience, careers advice, resume assistance and more.
  • Counselling and family mediation services.
  • Centrelink assistance.
  • Housing support
  • Resources and assistance for obtaining your learner's permit.
  • Courses and further learning advice
  • English language skills
  • Digital literacy
  • Pathways to employment programs
  • Self-employment options for people interested in starting a business.
